Playground use
Most often the injury protection rubber plates made of rubber granules are used to cover the ground under playground units.
Every public playground must be built in accordance with the directions of European Union standard EN 1176 and EN 1177.
According to the directions of this standard, the thickness of the injury protection ground cover must be chosen according to the ‘falling height’. This way, due to the characteristics absorbing the energy of the fall, the rubber cover reduces the chance of injury to the minimum.
Its permeable ability makes it possible that after rain, the ground stays dry. It is insulated both against heat and cold, it is soft and due to its flexible surface it is the children’s favourite playing surface.
